I was shooting a time-lapse which I’m still working on, I arrived at this site around 9 and was there for about 3 hours until these two cops rolled up! At first I was calm and refused to give ID, After the second cop was breathing down my neck and really threatening me. I gave in and tried to get them to leave. Then stuff got heated. The first officer (Charles Tobias) was nice but just couldn’t grasp what I was doing after 4 explanations, He started to become angry when backup arrived, I guess so his fellow cop knew he was tough and could handle me? I gave him my ID even though I knew I didn’t have to, to try to make them leave asap, After the second cop (Cleland) notice I was recording become very upset, I

This image is my latest in my macro work, this winter has been pretty dull, Snow wise and I’ve just lost my motivation to go shooting. But Recently I pushed my self and went and shot some macro work. this is the first image a series of 5. I used my Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro lens and my Canon 50D body. Today I gonna chat about macro photography. If you have read my blog you know that I bought my first Macro dedicated lens last spring. It was the Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro, This lens is amazing, I love how it’s built and its DOF. I have taken amazing images with this lens, but not without hurdles to jump and things to learn. The things I would say you need for macro photography is most definitely a tripod! It is so important to keep that lens and camera so still. When you shoot with this lens at the greatest magnification, The focus point almost paper-thin! That makes it so important you have something sturdy to plant everything down. Lightroom 4 is about to drop and I wanted to lay out some of the cool features coming to the new program. I have been using Lightroom for about my entire photography career. I love the ease of use and the organization of the library. I like using Lightroom on a large screen! It’s important to me because I like to have all my tabs out so I can double check everything while I work. These are a few of the features I think are gonna be awesome!
