A Splash Of Drops.

Recently we had a pretty good storm roll through the area and when I saw how bad it was, I picked up my gear and headed outside! I grabbed my lighting kit and I hooked up my umbrellas so I could shield my camera from the rain. It was slightly windy and I had to boost my ISO to get a fast enough shutter speed to stop the movement, Although I still had to wait for almost no movement to get it really sharp. I had a great time taking these photos and I love the Canon 100mm Macro, Which I have a review (Coming Soon). I took this photo using my Induro Adventure Series Tripod and you can find a review HERE. Which I love that tripod! I also linked my camera to my MacBook Pro, I wanted to

Events And Clubs Are Always Cool!

I have been doing special events for a little more than half a year now. I have been having a great time shooting these parties and events. The parties are always late at night, sometimes all night and its great! When I get Invited to a party, which is usually a few days ahead, sometimes not. The day of the party I get my check list out and starting checking and re-checking all my gear and making sure is ready to go and charged. Having a check list is such a great idea, its a life saver. Once I forgot batteries for my camera and my flash, talk about a big mistake. It was solved by walking to a gas station that was down the block. It was funny I emptied his battery supplies, I think he thought I was crazy! I took the photo

Colorful World

Recently I went on a photo walk with my local photo club. Chester County (PA) Photography (http://www.facebook.com/CCPaPhoto). We went to a local state park and walk along the river for about 4 hours, We all took great photos. I took this one on a little stream heading towards the main river, I wasn’t the only photographer who was taking photos of this little dam, so I’m hoping that this image fits with the rest of them. It was a great day for a photo walk, It was cloudy and not to much sun and no rain. I have just purchased a few ND filters and I wanted to give them a try this day and I think they work really well. The little part of the dam had fallen away and you could see below the water and get that detail. It also

My family has been looking to move back to my home town in hershey, pa. So I have had no time to get out and take photos. So for that I’m sorry.   I took this photo on Struble Trail in Downingtown,PA. It is a very awesome trail near my home. I always love walking it and taking my camera along for the ride. Three Mile Island-Disaster or Triumph?

Recently there has been controversial talk about Nuclear Power Plants in the US. I decided to go to Middletown, PA, which isn’t that far from my Fathers house. I packed up my gear and did a quick search on local laws pertaining to the power station. I wanted to make sure that you could still pull off the road and take a photos of it. They have been cracking down on people stopping their cars close to the plant because all the new Anti-Terrorism laws. Well, I didn’t find anything saying no, so I packed the family and we went on a small trip. When we got close to the plant, I was looking for great angles and views. I was raining quite a bit and I didn’t want to get my camera to wet. But I set it to Aperture mode
