I’ve been up in Maine for about 3 days so far and it’s been so much fun, there is so much photo opportunity to take advantage of! This shot was taken right before we drove on to Bailey Island, Maine. It was so windy and so cold, I wasn’t sure if I should have gotten out but I did, I wanted to shoot this little boat landing area right before the bridge. High tide was coming in and Little mini Icebergs were surrounding me, so I had to hurry with the shot and only took a few before my pant legs and tripod were under water. I just love getting up at the crack of dawn, getting my gear ready and driving to locations. The feel and smell of the air is just the greatest feeling ever! I certainly don’t know all the tripods on the market and there might be excellent ones that are less

Flickr is a great place to find ideas or just simply get pumped, like it did. I wanted to take a food shot but with some action in it, so I grab some coffee and a cup and went to town setting up the table. As you can see from the photo below. I set up with sunlight coming from behind me and shot towards my kitchen. I got everything set up and was trying to figure out what to drop into the cup that would make a big splash but wouldn’t break the cup. Now after about 30 min of walking through my house to find something,
