That Extra “Y” Factor

Here is just a little preview of my latest work! There is plenty more on the way. I dropped a Coca-Cola bottle cap into creamer and had my lights set up; one to the right and one right above! No flash. I believe I captured the best splash so far. I will be uploading more in the next few days!

Latest Macro Work!

I took this shot today in my living room in my studio. I had one monolight set up to the right of the apple and one right above for maximum lighting. I got the perfect light and contrast! I love this Photograph and I hope you like it too! To See this photo larger just Click it!! Enjoy!

Macro Work and Tips!

Hey Everybody! This photo is so what I’m into. I love doing macro work because it lets you see a world that you don’t see everyday! I love getting down and close to things, taking the photo and having an image that’s super close and you get all that detail. The textures you get when you that close to something is just amazing! The photograph above was right in front of my house! It means you don’t have to travel far to get great macros
. Lately I’m looking into a lot more macro stuff, I’ve been surfing Flickr and other photography tip sites to get good examples. The most important thing to remember is that you DON’T need the latest and most expensive gear out there! I have a Canon EOS 50D with a 17-85mm Lens that can focus down

Total Bliss

I took this photo at Marsh Creek State Park. It’s my favorite place to go now a days. The scenes are amazing, the feel of the place is just pure bliss. I always love going here, there are so many opportunities that you can take advantage of. Yesterday, I took the day and walked around the park for about a hour and a half. So I defiantly got some great photos!  The lake was frozen and I believe it will be for a while. We are getting lots of really cold weather lately, which is great for snow and ice photogs. Just found out today that my Sensor has way to many dust spots! I feel like I wanna scream!!! I’m so mad that I now have to make a 3 hour drive to Canon in Jersey to get it cleaned!, UGH!!!

Unders

Thursday I was out for the first time with my camera since it was repaired by Canon for over a week. I unboxed the camera check made sure everything was good to go. I gathered my gear, Headed out for a drive to find some interesting shots! I was driving around Exton,Pa. Thinking what am I going to find today! I was really excited to have my camera back and to be back in the field doing what I do best, Taking photographs.  Well, I’ve been driving around for about 30 minutes and I’m not seeing much so far, but then I take this back road that leads, who knows where! Dude! Where’s my camera? Tips!

  Well, Another day has past and still no camera! I don’t know what Canons doing to it, maybe there checking it twice. Who knows what they’re doing. All I know is I want my baby back! Today I’m gonna try to keep this blog very easy and casual. I’m going to give you a few tips for surviving through a camera repair. So here it goes.
