Large and heavy glass lenses are subject to what photographers call ‘zoom creep’ where they have the tendency to extend outward when pointed downwards. This is a problem that frustrates some photographers to no end! Me included! There is a way you can fix this problem easily and all you might need is a specialized tool.
I ordered one of this “tool” in white to try it on my lens that always gives me trouble, I received it in the mail about 4 days later and so far it seems to fit all my other lens and was very easy to place on the trouble maker. I noticed at first that even with the LensBand over the zoom ring, It still creeped a little, I just adjusted it slightly and now doesn’t move at all!
